Entrepreneurial Chat:  Protecting Your IP   

This Entrepreneurial Chat will help you understand how to protect your most important asset – intellectual property.   Learn about the strategies and pitfalls you may encounter while starting a new business. This is an informal, open forum and an opportunity for you to ask those legal questions that arise.   

The speaker, John T. Carter, has been practicing business and commercial law for over 15 years.  Mr. Carter was born and raised in southeastern Michigan, received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his law degree from the University of Miami, Florida.  Mr. Carter works with businesses in various local industries and serves several "entrepreneurial" non-profit organizations throughout Oakland County. He is an active member of the Business Law and Unincorporated Entities sections of the Michigan Bar.
